How do you actually sell without selling? I am telling you that if I can sell without selling, you can too. I started out as an elementary school teacher and when I transitioned to online marketing, I was terrified of talking to people and making sales. All I could think about was how I had to do some type of selling to make money and that immediately made me think of used car salesmen over and over. Therefore, I decided at that point I didn’t know how to sell and I hated selling. As a result, I struggled for a very long time. Then, I listened to a certain trainer who said he didn’t like to sell so he became an excellent marketer. After that, I thought about it for a long time and looked into it deeper and I found out it is the absolute truth.
A salesperson is someone who is on the phone all the time talking to people and using selling techniques and strategies to try to get them to understand why they should be using a product. There is nothing at all wrong with this as long as you aren’t using undesirable tactics like used car salesmen.
Become a better marketer
On the other hand, a person who learns how to be a good marketer never has to sell. That means you are marketing a solution to a problem someone has. And you are putting the solution in front of them as good value in a way that doesn’t look like selling or cold calling. Therefore, good marketing should look like you solving their problem whether it be through a video, an article, or a course. If they think they need your product/solution to solve their problem, then you have marketed to them successfully and made sales and money in the process.
If you are on the internet, that means that you have a sales funnel that is built out and doing the selling for you. A sales funnel is a tool marketers use as a way of preparing people to buy your product or service from you.

Create an irresistible offer
It is critical for you to have a very good offer as a good marketer. This does not refer to your product or service, but rather the offer of the results/value they will get from purchasing your product or service. The offer includes everything they will get from you if they do purchase and more.
When you have an irresistible offer, you keep stacking on the value and benefits they will get from the product/service and they realize they can’t live without it. As a result, they buy. There was never any selling involved on your part because they feel the value exchange was way in their favor. Another way to classify it is, you are over-delivering compared to the price they are paying.

Hire a people person that can make sales without selling for you
This absolutely does not mean hire someone to do sleazy sales for you. It means to hire someone that can come in and do welcome calls for you. In other words, hire someone that can tell people you are so happy they took advantage of your offer and ask how you can help them even more.
It would be beneficial to also have a back end
offer that makes good sense to the buyer. An offer that may provide even more
value for them to purchase to help them even more.
Hiring a people person will likely help you grow
and scale your business faster than if you didn’t. This way you don’t have to sell, but you are
still making a lot of commissions.
